So simple - It isn't.
Finished reading Michael Crichton's State of Fear, a techno-novel with a 41 page bibliography. The story is a page-turner with over 620 pages supporting the concept that global warming is nothing more than politized science, a very dangerous creation. The facts support the idea that no one knows just how much of the global warming is man made virsus natural phenomenon. More is available from Crichton's web site. And, here is another blog with a different viewpoint on State of Fear.
Just yesterday someone gave me a copy of Sierra, the Seirra Club's January-February, 2005 issue. There are two global warning articles. But, thanks to Michael Crichton, I have a refreshingly new perspective. Turns out that Sierra Club has an enormous budget need and following Crighton's theme, they are not exactly conducting double blind testing on global warming research. The articles are: Year One: Climate Chaos has Arrived by Bill McKibben and See No Evil: How the White House Edits Out Global Warning by Paul Rauber. For a flash I thought I was looking at the National Enquirer's front page. Perhaps Crichton has a point about Politicized Science.
